I thank all the readers who were with me on this blog. Thanks also to scholars who reached out or helped me with information.
A few major changes happened in the nomenclature of hypermobility disorders in 2017. This necessitated the content to be updated to reflect those changes on the blog. But I had developed dystonia of my right hand in 2016 and was unable update the blog after the changes. My dynamic disabilities include difficulties in typing that last for months, making it difficult to work on the blog during those periods.
I have struggled with darkness like many people suffering from unending pain and desperation. I know that any source of information and shared experience in the context of an uncommon disease is valuable to those who are affected by it in some way.
A lot has happened in the past 8 years. I am in the process of updating and rewriting some of the content and making them available on my own website, which is easier for me to manage. I would definitely like to keep sharing information on HSD, but migrating, updating, and setting up the new blog is turning out to be a challenging task.
Any feedback or guests posts are welcome. If you are interested to collaborate or contribute to this cause in any way, please drop me a line.
